Working with Tim is a pleasure
he has a unique perspective on the world and can always see many angles to a concept. Tim has an incredible eye for storytelling through visual details by bringing any ideas to life with his honed skills. Tim and I have been collaborating since college for more than a decade, and he has been a great help to me on every project we have worked on by forcing me to dig deep into the core message of my stories in order to achieve the highest standard possible. Since our time working together, he has become an indispensable partner and a great dependable friend I can always count on to tell me the truth.

I was first introduced to Tim
when I was making my first short film THE WATER PHOENIX, a story about a mermaid held captive in an aquarium. I needed a storyboard artist to bring the images I had in my head to a page. It was such an ambitious script and that visuals for it were a huge key for raising money. Once I sent Tim the script, he quickly turnaround a sketch featuring the marquee image of a black mermaid reaching out to a little black girl hands on the other side of the glass. I couldn’t believe how accurate he got the tone, the depth, and the weight of that moment so quickly and without notes. It was more than enough to prove he was the perfect person for the job.

Tim has been a wonderful contributor to our Layouts team
during his time with our production. His work is fast and efficient, with a strong eye toward dynamic posing and action sequences, as well as having a very strong sense and execution of casual poses. He takes notes well and works to deliver above and beyond with each stage of the process. His keen eye and attention to figure work would be a strong addition to any team.
